The LXR produces Pure Far Infrared that is thermal radiant heat. Traditional Finnish Saunas produce convection heat.
Both types of heat properties differ greatly as radiant heat, especially Far Infrared, warms the body directly without heating the air inbetween. It works by raising the core temperature and exterior of the body evenly for rejuvenation. Convection heat on the other hand, heats the air to surround the body's exterior. It raises the exterior temperature from the skin's surface to work from the outside and cannot be absorbed into the body.
Proof of this is evident inside the LXR as the ambient temperature doesn't rise quickly since it only produces Pure Far Infrared.
The LXR produces Pure Far Infrared and nothing less. Technically, all other Far Infrared Saunas are Infrared Saunas since the heaters produce all three levels of Infrared with some Far Infrared.
A few Infrared Saunas will produce mostly Near Infrared with some Medium and very little Far Infrared. Most Infrared Saunas will produce very little Near Infrared with most Medium Infrared and very little Far Infrared. A few Infrared Saunas will produce some Medium Infrared and some Far Infrared. The LXR is the only Pure Far Infrared Sauna in the industry. Pure Far Infrared eliminates convection heat to maximize therapeutic benefits.
Most saunas that you find on the website are dealers importing small quantities with a private label. A few companies import larger quantities, but none of these companies are the actual manufacturers. In both cases, these competing brands are using the same manufacturing sources to import their products.
