Electrical Requirements
Electrical requirements will vary depending on the LXR model. Check to see if your room is equipped with proper gauge wiring to support the wall receptacles. A certified electrician is recommended for adding any dedicated line.
120V 15 amp Receptacle
This is the standard wall receptacle for rooms. It can either be supported by 12 or 14 gauge electrical wiring. The circuit breaker will either show a 15 amp or 20 amp fuse switch.
120V 20 amp Receptacle
This is a special wall receptacle for rooms. It can be supported by 12 gauge electrical wiring. The circuit breaker must be changed to a 20 amp fuse switch. The 120V 20 amp receptacle is included with the LXR.
Note: If the circuit breaker for the existing line is 20 amp, then the wall receptacle included can be switched with its existing one and no additional electrical work.
120V 30 amp Receptacle
This is a special wall receptacle for rooms. It can be supported by 10 gauge electrical wiring. A dedicated line and breaker is necessary for this type of outlet.
220V 20 amp Receptacle
This is a special wall receptacle for rooms. It can be supported by 12 gauge electrical wiring. A dedicated line and breaker is necessary for this type of outlet.
