The LXR can be used anytime to match your schedule and when you need it most. It's very simple to operate and can be used more than once a day. Since Pure Far Infrared Energy provides a passive cardiovascular workout, the body may feel restless if trying to sleep right after its use.
Allow the body to cool down for at least 1 hour prior to going to bed when used in the evening.
The LXR can be used up to 1 hour for regular use.
Add 5 minutes to your desired session length to warm-up the Micro Carbon-Fiber Heaters prior to beginning your session.
If it's your first session with an LXR, try it out for a half session of 15 minutes to see how your body responds.
The minimum Micro Carbon-Fibers setting, "not (ambient) air temperature" for effective Far Infrared therapy is 108°F.
LXR Micro Carbon-Fibers settings can be selected up to a maximum of 160°F, so gradually increase to the highest temperature that your body can comfortably handle with consistent use.
If it is your first session, try the LXR at temperature settings under 120°F to see how your body reacts at 15 minute sessions. Gradually raise the temperature, then session lengths to your comfort.
IMPORTANT: The Micro Carbon-Fibers' temperature setting is not the same as the ambient temperature because they are producing radiant heat; not convection heat. The Micro Carbon-Fibers produce their set temperature for your body after only 5 minutes of warmup. Do not mistake the ambient temperature for what the heaters are producing. The easiest way to notice this is to place your hand near the Micro Carbon-Fibers to feel the radiant heat directly.
There's no need to drink large amounts of water or nutritional fluids, but drink enough to make you feel comfortable: before, during, and after each session.
Nutrients are not diplenished from LXR sessions, they are used for energy throughout the active Far Infrared therapy process. Only unwanted minerals and toxic buildup will be removed through sweat.
